Bramson v. McGraw Hill, et al.
The firm represented a New York Times best-selling author
in a copyright infringement action against two individuals and the
publishers of their work. After extensive discovery, the firm negotiated
a settlement far exceeding the client’s expectations.
- Lizden
Industries v Meridian Industries Corp. The firm acted as co-counsel
in the successful representation of a clothing designer and manufacturer
against a competitor who improperly sold “copy cat”
designs.
- ACI v.
Exxon. The firm represented a general contractor and obtained
payment from Exxon Oil Company for work done during the overhaul
of a major refining facility in Benicia, California.
- Center
For Management Design v Magma Copper Company. The firm successfully
represented a Delaware Corporation in a lawsuit alleging claims
for breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, and unfair
business practices.
- Citizens
Cable Communications Co. v. Cox Cable Communications Co. The
firm represented the plaintiff in claims arising from an option
to purchase a cable television company in neighboring community.
The case settled favorably after one week of trial.
- Furniture
Creations, Inc. v. Universal Furniture. The firm was retained
by plaintiff to represent it in a complex contract dispute. The
client was awarded a $1,000,000 verdict following a three week jury
