practice of “force-placing” collateral protection insurance
resulted in the recovery of approximately $150 million for consumers
and injunctions prohibiting many of the practices complained of

labeling, investor fraud, life insurance, telecommunications, billing

Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, California’s
